Jaclyn Carrillo
Founder & Creative Director
With over 20 years of experience in the wedding and event industry, Jaclyn Carrillo is the visionary behind Solara Decor Co. Her career began in catering, evolved through owning a successful floral design studio, and expanded into full-service wedding planning — giving her a uniquely well-rounded perspective on creating beautifully cohesive events.
Today, as Founder & Creative Director, Jaclyn leads the creative direction and brand vision for Solara Decor Co. While she no longer takes on day-to-day coordination, her influence is present in every detail of the client experience. She curates the studio’s signature style, mentors the planning team, and ensures each event reflects Solara’s elevated aesthetic and thoughtful approach.
In addition to her work at Solara, Jaclyn also manages two of Ventura County’s premier wedding venues — Gerry Ranch and Casi Cielo Vineyards — and consults for venues and creative entrepreneurs across the industry. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Biola University, graduating with high honors.
When she’s not guiding her team or consulting with clients, you’ll find her planting succulents, reading, hiking, sipping espresso, traveling, or spending time with her family.
Kalen Lewis
Lead Planner
Known for her editorial eye and high-energy approach, Kalen Lewis designs and leads Solara Decor Co. weddings with equal parts creativity and precision. A former photographer turned seasoned wedding planner, she brings five years of experience crafting thoughtful, visually striking events that reflect each couple’s unique style.
Kalen thrives on the design and styling side of the planning process — from curating intentional details to creating spaces that feel elevated, cohesive, and full of personality. As Lead Planner, she works closely with clients to bring their vision to life, ensuring each celebration feels beautifully executed and uniquely their own.
Kalen holds a degree in History from CSU Channel Islands. When she’s not orchestrating weddings, you’ll find her nose in a book, diving into creative projects, or spending time with her family.
